As a non-governmental organisation, Paywand is founded with the purpose of displaying public awareness about Multiple sclerosis(MS). During last years Paywand’s most effort has been put to helping MS patients with financial difficulties, in Iran.
PEYWAND is an independent, non-political non-profit organization registered under the number 195085017 with the Federal Ministry of the Interior, Department IV/2IT-MS.
Our mission is to provide financial assistance to Iranians who have fallen into hardship through no fault of their own, particularly those affected by illnesses such as multiple sclerosis. The current sanctions on Iran have had a severe impact on the availability and affordability of essential medications. Many patients can no longer afford the treatments they desperately need, nor can they access even basic medical care.
PEYWAND is committed to helping these individuals in a transparent and accountable manner. We strive for efficient collaboration and close contact with like-minded supporters in Austria, Iran, and beyond. As members of PEYWAND, we reach out to all those who care, urging them to acknowledge the dire situation of chronically ill patients in Iran who are struggling through no fault of their own.
We kindly ask for your support—your donation can provide direct and immediate assistance without unnecessary bureaucracy. We guarantee that every contribution will be used exclusively for the medical treatment of those in urgent need.

MS patients currently supported by the Peywand Association live in various regions of Iran. Initially, a Peywand staff member or local contact reaches out to the patient. Medical information and the patient’s financial hardship are assessed and forwarded to the association. After a positive evaluation, treatment costs are covered—either by reimbursing the patient upon verification of medical invoices or by direct payment to the hospital.
